Brent Black

(he/him)

Brent is thrilled at the opportunity to see Khan!!! fully produced after nearly 8 years of development! He is a proud alum of NYU Tisch's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, and has written or co-written seven musicals including I’ll Be Damned (co-written by Rob Broadhurst) which played Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre in 2010 and starred Mary Testa. In 2008, he created a youth arts program called "Let's Make a Musical" which he led at the Brass Ring Performing Arts Center in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He is best known for his YouTube parody music channel Brentalfloss; the channel has garnered nearly half a million subscribers and spawned 3 major album releases, all reaching the top 10 of the iTunes and Billboard comedy charts. He is the co-creator of the video game Use Your Words, and co-hosted the podcasts Trends Like These with Travis McElroy and Question Box with Kate Sloan. Musical Director

Nicholas Kaminski

Nicholas Kaminski is a composer/lyricist, actor and musician originally from New Jersey. He created Starborn: A Disco Odyssey, an original science fiction musical which premiered at 54 Below in 2020, and Big Famous, a new musical currently in development. He recently conducted Kinky Boots for Norwegian Cruise Line and is an accompanist with LaGuardia High School's musical theatre program. Favorite credits include National Tour: Cabaret (AMD/Accordion); Television: House Hunters (HGTV, "Himself"); NYC:  Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings (Carnegie Hall); Regional: Souvenir (Surflight Theatre, “Cosme McMoon”). Nicholas is a proud member of Actor's Equity Association and The Dramatists Guild. 

Assistant Stage Manager

Tony Lehman

(he/him)

Tony Lehman is thrilled to be returning to the Players Theatre to be a part of Khan!!! The Musical as the Assistant Stage Manager. He has been seen assisting and performing in other Players Theatre shows such as Frankenstein (Felix, Ensemble) and A Christmas Carol (Assistant Stage Manager). His most recent project was his first Equity project How to Dance in Ohio at New 42 Studios as the Production Assistant. He hopes everyone enjoys the show and that we all can continue to spread joy through musical theatre.

Lighting Designer

Melissa Shawcross

Melissa Shawcross has been working in Technical Theater for the last 7 years. She has worked as a lighting designer, production manager, carpenter, and is currently the Technical Director at 59E59 Theaters. She’s designed lights for Pete Davidson, Kansas, Michelle Wolf, and Amy Schumer to name a few. She is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz and is excited to be working on this production with dear friends. General Manager

Leah Michalos/ Michalos Management

Leah Michalos is an entertainment management, producing and consulting firm with over 16 years’ experience in both commercial and nonprofit entertainment ventures. Broadway: lead producing team, Chicken & Biscuits (Circle in the Square). Select credits include: The Orchard with Jessica Hecht and Mikhail Baryshnikov, The Lucky Star, Renee Taylor’s My Life on a Diet (Lucille Lortel and Outer Critics Circle nom.), Terms of Endearment with Molly Ringwald, Butler, A Better Place, The Road to Damascus, Murder in the First, Poetic License, The Best of Everything. Film: Executive Producer: Beau, a new musical. Director: GABBY Awards at Carnegie Hall, El Capitan (LA) and Ellis Island.

Director

John Lampe

(he/him)

John Lampe is a New York based director, actor, and musician. As a director, he has helmed new works such as Aunt Jack (Unstoppable Theatre) and classics like Richard III (New York Shakespeare Company). Onstage, he has performed at many historic New York venues such as the Nuyorican Cafe, The Players Theatre, and the Stonewall Inn, among many others. Rebecca Batson

 Rebecca Batson (she/her) is an NYC/DMV based stage manager. Some of her favourite credits include: Archie’s Weird Parody (PSM, Theatre Row) The Office! A Musical Parody (PSM), Out of the Box (PSM, TBTB), and Fucking A (SM, Fordham). Huge thank you to John, Brent, Tony, and the entire team for their support and to Sloan for… she knows. 

Costume Designer

Jolene Richardson

Jolene Marie is a New York based costume designer, fashion historian, and writer. Her theatre credits include A Christmas Story, play (Garden Theatre) Calling All Kate's and Sequence (Adirondack Theatre Festival). Film and TV The Last Drive In with Joe Bob Briggs, Scare Package II, Cannibal Mukbang, Crybaby Bridge. She also has a lecture series with Cinema Arts Centre, her blog Hanging By A Thread, and the print/online scape of the premier horror magazine Fangoria. Scenic Designer

Ivey Jenkins Long

Ivey Jenkins-Long is a seasoned carpenter and set builder with many years of experience in the New York City off-Broadway theatre scene. She worked as a freelance carpenter for ten years while running her own design and build company, Ivey Wood Designs, and completed a variety of projects ranging from recording studios to art installations at the MoMA. Currently, Ivey lives and works in Westchester County and enjoys building sustainable homes and any other creative projects that come her way, while also spending time with her friends and family.

Kampfire PR

A full service Marketing and Public Relations agency founded by Katie Rosin, offering exceptional and custom campaigns for each client’s unique needs and projects. Rosin was instrumental in the launch of the Broadway musical Brooklyn and the National Tour of Mother Load. She worked on the publicity team for the comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, and his movie Comedian. Antonio Miniño later joined the Kampfire Team, after having produced and marketed various fashion shows, theatrical productions, as well as produced and hosted for the award winning Fashion TV. Together they have represented companies of all levels, genres and aesthetics in the Arts.
